Students of Mr. Boyers class-
I would like you to introduce yourselves to Ms. Toldt's class this weekend. They just started doing a blog and they will be our first blogger friends. They are 5th graders that go to school in Gwinnett County.
Anyone in our class who writes a comment on Ms. Toldt's blog that follows the following requirements will receive 1 free homework pass for this week. Your blog must:
1. tell what class you are from (if you'd like to introduce yourself please don' t use your name, it's ok to use your initials.)
2. tell them in 2-3 sentences what you like about sycamore elementary or our class
3. ask a question about something at their school or class (remember they are probably learning about many of the same things that we are becuase they are Gwinnett County 5th graders.)
4. vote in their poll

Wow! I have really enjoyed reading a little bit more about Mr. Boyers' class through your blog. Your class sounds like a really neat place where you have a lot of fun, but also have a lot of high expectations! This makes me really happy to read. I know Mr. Boyers is preparing you for middle school! Keep up the great work! Maybe we can have a contest between our two classes to see who can turn in their homework consistently. We had 100% today! I love some of the great writing I see too! The state writing test is only a week away, so this is a great way to practice some of the skills you have been learning!

ReplyDeleteToday we would like to share a special saying with you that helps us when we are converting customary capacity in Math. We like to say that we are "texting" 8-2-2-4 to remember that there are 8 fl.oz in a cup, 2 cups in a pint, 2 pints in a quart, and 4 quarts in a gallon. We are headed out to Writing Bootcamp in just 1 hour! We hope we survive. Adios!
